Dining Room
The center room was used originally as the family dining room and is the largest of the first floor rooms. The portrait of William Kirkland (1768-1836), by Jacob Marling (1774-1833), has never left its place of honor over the mantel in Ayr Mount's 190-year history. It hangs over the most elaborate chimneypiece of the eight in the house.
