Great Hall The handsome pair of large gilt mirrors came from Boscobel. The set of twenty drawings of St. Petersburg in 1820 served as an architectural guide for me on a recent trip to Russia. Most of the classical buildings shown in this suite of prints area are still in existence. The old Island mahogany desk and most of the other furnishings in the room were made in the Caribbean in the early nineteenth century. |
