Drawing Room of 69 E. 93rd Street
This elegant Adam-style Philadelphia mantel, circa 1800 by Robert Wellford, was installed by Mr. Jenrette and gives a touch of class to the Bakers’ former carriage house. The early-nineteenth-century gilt French Empire clock on the mantel is quite charming, with a lady instructing her daughter in astronomy and astrology.
